Is it normal for an Achilles tendon to crack?

I've tried to do some research, but none of it has really answered this. Every once in a while, maybe once or twice a month, my rick ankle will get this almighty pain, and in order for it to go away, I have to move it around so it can crack. (The pain is in the very back of my ankle. I believe it's my achilles tendon.) It hurts to move it, and it even hurts more when it cracks. Problem W/ local theater, some insight?

I'm going to apologize right now for the length of this one. Okay, so the story goes my brother wqas crazy shy, but he found this little tiny theater program that put on plays in this 10 by 10 foot theater, and my brother found his love for drama in it, along with his confidance. A few more people join the theater, along with some parents, it gets a little bigger and they move to aan old movie theater, where they keep on putting on productions, the parents run the concessions and the place starts making a hundred bucks or so on every show they put on, the community is good with it.It is a volenteer program, and some realy great kids join, like my bother to find their confidance, and do. Then a pair of really creepy adults Join. The theater was started by Chuck and megan, who are very nice, but have no creep-o-meter what so ever. Creepy guy # one takes over tech stuff, and brings with him a bunch of creepy 15 year old kids who do tech as well, it starts to change the feel of the theater a little, but not bad since they were behind the scenes, problem being if you were to volenteer to do tech now, you had to pass creepy guy's assesment of you, and you haad no choice but to work with his set of obnoxious creeples. Now creepy guy # 2 shows up. He is a rich old dude, and he starts taking over concessions, what were chips and candy are now candy bar and wine. A kid is charged twice as much for a candy bar as an adult girl is. His little set of sluts starts hanging out smoking in front of the theater, getting rid of the family feel of the theater completly. Creepy guy # 2 starts calling it his theater, and now almost all of the good kids that were in the program have now dropped out because of the 2 creepy guys. Now, creepy guy #1 drops away from the theater because Chuck and megan get mad at him, taking with him the house crew, all the lights that the theater owned, and rocky. This was the first move in the right direction for the theater. Now, here is where my brother offers to run the theater for the next year, do the bills and such for them, and I offer to take over tech for them. I know this seems like we were offering to replace creeepy guy one, but our intentions are simply to help the theater, and we are not aiming for a monoply over the theater like they are. When my bro and I told chuck and megan that we would like to step in, they said yes, certainly. And we told them, along w/ several members of the community, that creepy guy needed to go, along with his alcohol and smoking sluts, and they said that they didn't think it would be that big a deal if creepy guy # 2 stayed. Now, my brother graduates highschool, and having planned on working at the theater for a year, he has nothing to do, and is somewhat up a creek with out a paddle because he had always planned on doing this. Okay, I'm 23 years old. I've been considering a possible breast augmentation ever since I can remember. My height is 5'5"and my bra size is a 34A(measurements 34-21-34). Can capsular contracture (hardening of breast tissue after breast augmentation) be easily removed by a surgeon?

I had a breast augmentation 16 years ago. The "hardening" in one of my breasts has deformed that breast, in time, and I was told years ago that it was called "capsular contracture". Regardless of what it is called, the hardening of that breast (over the muscle, not under) is now showing more, as gravity has taken it's course since I first had this augmentation done. The other breast is fine, and has drooped naturally with time and age. I am 53 years of age, and in very good trim shape (not afraid of surgery, although I HAVE been told there is always a chance of infection (which DOES scare me, because if infection is VERY bad, the new implant would have to be taken out for approx 3 to 6 mths I believe). I am trying to make the decision of whether or not the surgery (removing old implants, removing old hardening (the capsular contracture)? I was told that removing means like "peeling lots of layers of wallpaper". I am not sure if this is only time consuming, or very difficult for a surgeon, or BOTH? If it is pretty normal proceedure that most cosmetic breast surgery surgeons perform, then my decision to have the implants changed would be a yes. If it is very difficult and high risk, then I will leave well enough alone. I have no complications, as it is only the hardening (not painful) that bothers me physically. Would there be any surgeons out there that would know the answer to this? I have had only one surgeon give me her answers, so far, and would like to have a couple more opinions, if possible. It all just depends. My took a few months to FULLY drop, but were dropped enough to stop looking stupid and plastic after about three weeks. You should be fine. Everyone is different. It hurts, so be prepared, but it's very worth it (at least to me). I have decided, after a lot of thought, to get breast augmentation surgery. My reasons are personal. and I do not feel I should have to justify them to anyone. I have been getting a good bit of negative feedback about my decision, but I know it's what's right for me, and I could not be happier. Anyway, I am currently taking a medicine(suboxone for heroin addiction). I have been clean for 6 and a half years, and am pretty close to coming off of this medicine. I get suboxone from my psychiatrist, and my plastic surgeon, not really knowing anything about the drug, wanted me to have my psychiatrist call him so that they could discuss my pain management for after the surgery. Well, I tried calling and faxing my shrink to ask him to call my surgeon, to no avail. So yesterday, I went to his office to be sure that I got to talk to him. He told me some B.S. about how he called the surgeon's office and talked to someone and left a message. I think that was a lie. Then, he told me that he does not know how suboxone will interact with the post surgery pain meds. and that he cannot be of any assistance. I was really taken aback by the fact that he prescribes this drug, but does not know how it will interact with other opiates. Then, he questioned me even having the surgery, told me I should do something else with the money(our tax refund), and tried to make me feel bad by saying I should spend the money on my kids. My kids are not in need or want of anything. They have a lot. I just couldn't believe that my psychiatrist, who is supposed to be objective and non judgemental. was standing there talking to me like he was my unsupportive father. He told me I don't need the surgery, and that I'm beautiful. I'm sorry, but you can't tell me I don't need it when you haven't even seen my bare breasts. I think he just doesn't want to have to deal with it, and does not want to be held responsible for actually knowing about a narcotic that he is allowed to prescribe. I was thinking about filing some kind of complaint and letting who ever is in charge of this sort of thing know that this doctor is giving this stuff out while not even knowing how to handle this kind of situation. What if I had to have an appendectomy, or other necessary surgery? At the very least I am not seeing him anymore. Am I right to be angry about this?

I had breast increase size (saline) completed and one is larger than the other. I have over a week before I see the doc again and I unsatisfied with the results; one was filled more than the other and noticable. Has this happened to anyone? Problem w/ local theater, some insight?

I'm going to apologize right now for the length of this one. Okay, so the story goes my brother wqas crazy shy, but he found this little tiny theater program that put on plays in this 10 by 10 foot theater, and my brother found his love for drama in it, along with his confidance. A few more people join the theater, along with some parents, it gets a little bigger and they move to aan old movie theater, where they keep on putting on productions, the parents run the concessions and the place starts making a hundred bucks or so on every show they put on, the community is good with it.It is a volenteer program, and some realy great kids join, like my bother to find their confidance, and do. Then a pair of really creepy adults Join. The theater was started by Chuck and megan, who are very nice, but have no creep-o-meter what so ever. Creepy guy # one takes over tech stuff, and brings with him a bunch of creepy 15 year old kids who do tech as well, it starts to change the feel of the theater a little, but not bad since they were behind the scenes, problem being if you were to volenteer to do tech now, you had to pass creepy guy's assesment of you, and you haad no choice but to work with his set of obnoxious creeples. Now creepy guy # 2 shows up. He is a rich old dude, and he starts taking over concessions, what were chips and candy are now candy bar and wine. A kid is charged twice as much for a candy bar as an adult girl is. His little set of sluts starts hanging out smoking in front of the theater, getting rid of the family feel of the theater completly. Creepy guy # 2 starts calling it his theater, and now almost all of the good kids that were in the program have now dropped out because of the 2 creepy guys. Now, creepy guy #1 drops away from the theater because Chuck and megan get mad at him, taking with him the house crew, all the lights that the theater owned, and rocky. This was the first move in the right direction for the theater. Now, here is where my brother offers to run the theater for the next year, do the bills and such for them, and I offer to take over tech for them. I know this seems like we were offering to replace creeepy guy one, but our intentions are simply to help the theater, and we are not aiming for a monoply over the theater like they are. When my bro and I told chuck and megan that we would like to step in, they said yes, certainly. And we told them, along w/ several members of the community, that creepy guy needed to go, along with his alcohol and smoking sluts, and they said that they didn't think it would be that big a deal if creepy guy # 2 stayed. Now, my brother graduates highschool, and having planned on working at the theater for a year, he has nothing to do, and is somewhat up a creek with out a paddle because he had always planned on doing this. The theater is falling apart and becoming an eyesore because chuck and megan won't work on it, an dall the while I have been watching from the sidelines, and now I'm wondering what I Should do. You do need to be aware that everyone who is interested in acting comes to Southern California. The competition in the field is fierce. My opinion is no. Self confidence comes from within, and if this is why you are considering surgery I think you will be disappointed. You may like your proportions more, or you may not like them as much as you expected to. But either way, confidence comes from learning how to be comfortable in your own skin. There are plenty of beautiful small busted women, and only in Hollywood do most turn to surgery. Be fit and healthy and dress to complement your body type. Work on other areas of your life that you could improve on (friends, activities, volunteering, learning, working, creating, etc.), without resorting to surgery. Then forget about surgery for a while and focus on those things. Revisit the idea in 6 months or so and see how you feel then. If you are determined, do research. Find out everything that can (and sometimes does) go wrong. Research the surgeon. Go into it realistically and smartly. But in the end, my opinion remains no.

They'd be more willing (hopefully, it depends on the school) to give you more money if they completely understand your situation. Also there's thing you can do with business or something that can make money that can integrate your love for music and theater. Musicians still need accountants etc. Or financial advisers. If you're a sound engineer you can still work in the theater or music industries. Just because you major in Business doesn't mean you're restricted to a cubicle, even though that is a stereotype. There are fun jobs out there that a lot of people don't know about and you'll just have to look into that and find them.

Mine was under the muscle and I also had a lift. I am able to breastfeed just fine. Recent Breast Augmentation with implant concern?

I am 3 weeks post op from having a breast augmentation. I have a concern, and need to know what opinions I can obtain to ease my mind. I had a augmentation due to weight loss, and kids, I was a small B and they were low and very loose. I am 5'9 and went with saline under the muscle, I had a crescent lift on the right breast which was my larger breast. I had 550cc in the right breast and 600cc in the left breast. I love the size, and very happy with the lift, and happy with the look of my left breast. My concern is that the right breast is very RECTANGULAR, and the implant is obviously high, when I bend over my saggy small breast still dangles and my implant is in my chest wall. Will the implant ever move into the breast pocket or do I for see a redo on the right???????

Questions about breast augmentation surgery?

I havent had the surgery but my sister has and I was her care-giver and ride home after the surgery. The only piece of advice I can give is to MAKE SURE that you fill your pain medication the day before the surgery and ask your care-giver/ride home to give you your 1st dose of medication before you leave the clinic, pain medication can take several hours to "kick-in". Also my sister threw up from the dizziness of the anesthesia and medication on the ride home from the surgery, and battled nausea the entire 1st day, perhaps you should keep a bowl on hand just in case. My sister explained the pain as if she was sore for push-ups or other chest exercises or similar to breast milk coming in following birth of a baby. All in all she had a speedy recovery, in my bed, and loved the end result. Good luck.
