Are Meek Mill and Meek Millz the same person?

There was this battle rapper dude I remember who had long hair and was really skinny.... His name was Meek Millz.... Now I noticed Rick Ross signed a guy called "Meek Mill" but he's sort of chubby with short hair.... He also doesn't seem to sound like the battle rapper.....Is this the same guy with a switched up style or are they two different people? Brothers maybe?
